CLUB ROWING

Spend your summer with us training hard and having a tonne of fun while we’re at it! The club squad is for people aged 17 to 35 who want to have the full rowing experience. The season runs from early September through to the National Champs in February. Our squad ranges from complete beginners through to senior rowers. We train most days and head away to about five regattas around the South Island. Read more and sign up here.

MASTERS & SOCIAL ROWING

Anyone aged 27+ can row as a master in NZ. Our masters/social squad trains a few times a week and has the option of attending a mix of local and South Island wide regattas. This squad is open to all abilities - novice through to olympians! Winter is the key season for masters, however we offer year-round rowing in several ‘blocks’ that you can sign up to. HIGH SCHOOL ROWING

Four awesome secondary schools row with Canterbury Rowing Club:
- Avonside Girls’ High School
- Cashmere High School
- Christchurch Boys’ High School
- Christchurch Girls’ High School

School age rowers should first check with their school to see if rowing is offered as a sport. For those that don't have rowing at their school, get in touch and you may be able to join in with our club programme.
